How it all began...

My passion for baking and decorating started in December 2009 in my kitchen while still juggling a full time career managing marketing projects for corporate clients. While on maternity leave, I continuously experimented day in and day out with different recipes and flavours in order to find the best tasting cake.

​

Really, it all began with cupcakes! I was fascinated by these cute little tasty things and by 2010 I was supplying cupcakes to friends, family and my church. 

​

After having my second child, I then started making larger cakes and developed a great interest in decorating. I perfected my skills over many hours of practice, researching different techniques and styles and during a yearlong maternity break I found myself creating cakes for a much wider market, almost accidentally. Word soon spread about my cakes and by the end of 2011 I had a fast increasing customer base which eventually saw me resign my corporate job  to focus on the needs of my customers. Naturally, Favoured Cakes was born and with a high satisfaction and recommendation rate, it now rapidly growing serving customers both near and far on a weekly basis. 



Customers have come from all over London, Romford, Rainham Barking, Luton and even Abu Dhabi for my cakes! With a growing corporate lists I have created bespoke cakes for ISOBEL Advertising Agency, Ernst and Young, Serco and the BBC to name a few.
